The History of Love Effron

Initially founded as the Effron Coal Company in 1902 by Jacob Effron, the Effron Coal Company delivered coal to neighborhood families using a horse and wagon. By the early 1930s, it became Effron Oil Company and by 1954 it was providing heating oil to homes of friends and neighbors throughout Dutchess County.

Three years later, Love Oil Company was founded by Donald P. Love. This company also rapidly began attracting customers and building a strong reputation for home heating oil services. In 1987, these two local home comfort service leaders joined united in their common goal to deliver the best home heating services and solutions to customers and became Love Effron - the company that you know today.

Since then, Love Effron is still recognized as a premier local neighborhood home comfort services company, serving Dutchess and Ulster communities. Through changing and challenging economic times, and various oil crises over the years, Love Effron has never run out of oil, which means our customers won't either.

Our company continues to grow, adapt and thrive to meet and exceed the home comfort needs of our customers. We pride ourselves in being a local industry leader, with professional heating oil, air conditioning, home security and other home comfort services that are all designed with you in mind. It is this, and our local, home town community spirit, that other oil companies have difficulty matching. That's what makes us the first choice for all of your home comfort needs.

"I just wanted to compliment you again on the excellent service I received today. I made a "no heat" call this morning and within an hour a technician arrived, found the problem and made all the necessary repairs. So again, thank you for a job well done."
